Nexus One patched : Now Record videos at 720p HD

Folks who think Nexus One is dead just because Google isn’t pushing new features to it should check this out. Android geek’s community is doing a lot for Nexus One users. If you love photography and you own a Nexus One, then hope you would love to record videos at 720p HD  ; thanks to XDA forum members to share with everyone .

In past Cyanogen added support for 802.11n in CyanogenMod , and now a member of XDA forum announced a patch for CyanogenMod yesterday which enabled 720p video recording on the Nexus One . Currently the hack is only limited to Android 2.1 Nexus One devices , there a test build for 2.2 Froyo which is still under development  .

Yes for this you need a rooted Nexus One and not the stock OS – for the CyanogenMod patch to work. This patch would come along a better fps and audio quality in the next release so you don’t need to worry about the competitors for too long .To get it , download the Flash as Update.zip file .

You will need to choose the option of 720p from the quality menu in the camcorder app , else you won’t get a HD experience . I think Android developers need to check out this stuff, and think ?
