Good news Android Developers! Android Market Application size limit extended to 4GB
Mar 6, 2012 Android updates
Good news for all Android Application Developers! The Android Market which previously had an app size limit of just 50 MB has now extended the application size limit. Developers no longer have to trim their apps as the Android Market has pushed app size limit to 4GB. However, the APK file size would remain the same of 50GB but developers can attach expansion files to the APK, and Android Market would host the files.
On new devices, the expansion files would download automatically while on older devices, the expansion files will be downloaded when the app runs for the first time through a downloader library. Another point to note is that the refund period would start only when the application has finished downloading. So Android users wont experience problems of the refund period has passed while downloading.

Android OS next version – Android 5.0 Jellybean?
Mar 5, 2012 Android App Development
Android App Development has exponentially evolved over the past years. With the launch of Ice-cream Sandwich last May, Developers have been exposed to more features for their development purposes. And now, developers have more to look forward to.
Ever since the release of Android 4.0, Android app developers and enthusiasts knew the code name for the upcoming version would be Jelly Bean, however, now we have come to know that ASUS may be one of the first to launch with Jelly Bean.
During an interview with TechRadar, ASUS’s VP Benson Lin said “Asus is very close to Google, so once they have Android 5.0 I think there will be a high possibility that we will be the first wave to offer the Jelly Bean update.”
We can confirm the code name however we would have to be satisfied with that little detail as we would have to wait for more information regarding this.
